The following are our recommendations concerning user seat management.
Managing Your Design Seats
Your subscription plan gives you access to a number of design seats. Users who are assigned a design seat have access to the full range of engineering tools on the desktop application, whereas without a design seat, users’ access is limited to basic tools such as measuring and annotating the space.
Design seats are floating, so it is possible for organization administrators to re-allocate them as needed.
First, make sure you are signed in to your organization in the desktop application. Then, go to your organization settings on the web account and move the design seat as shown below:
Please note that design seats are allocated per device, so if you use multiple devices (such as a work laptop and personal computer), you will need to transfer the design seat each time you switch between devices.
You can view your active devices in your profile settings.
